Mystery Meteor Man

So I am officially entering into the blogging world. I have secretly wanted one for such a long time, but I just didn't know where to start. But lo and behold my awesome roomate helped me to create one! So I'm really excited about it. So two nights ago (which would be the 17th) at precisely 12:07 A.M. I was driving down a street in Orem when the sky around me got brighter. I though that maybe a street light had just came on, but it kept getting brighter. This light that I saw literally turned the night into day. This light only lasted 2-3 seconds and I had no idea what was going on. I was sure that I was either dying or going blind. But after this huge flash of light there was a huge ball of fire shooting through the sky, and just as fast as it appeared it was gone. I was just in awe after it was over then the only other driver on the road next to me, demanded my attention with a little honk. The man next to me rolled down his window and the only way to describe him is like a kid being let loose in Disney Land for the first time. Secretly I was feeling the same way inside. He slowed down until he was next to me and screamed "DID YOU SEE THAT?" I was tempted to say, see what? But I told him I had and he told me he thought he was dying at first, I was comforted that I wasn't completely insane by thinking this too. Thank you mystery meteor man for witnessing that with me even though I will never know who you are. This was by far one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life, I would die happy. To witness second hand here is the meteor shower. Enjoy :)

  1. Yeah! I'm the awesome roommate! I'm so happy you entered the blogging world :) Oh the fun you will have... I wish I would have seen this amazing meteor.

P.S. Your "About Me" section is soooo clever! Who wrote it?

  2. Oh goodness, Tori. This blog post made me so happy. I'll tell you why. Ten of my friends and I were on our ways to Sundance to watch the meteor shower and that giant fireball meteor totally passed through the sky in front of us. Haha we immediately stopped in awe :). I'm positive that it's the same one that you saw :)
